Joely Garner

Joely is passionate about the power of relationship building in community fundraising.  She started her fundraising career volunteering with the Friends of Chernobyl’s Children and Barnardo’s before becoming a volunteer coordinator at a disability charity. Joely is the Interim Head of Hospice Fundraising at Sue Ryder Thorpe Hall Hospice, having previously been a Senior Community Fundraiser and Community Fundraiser within the team.

Being part of the TEF is a true privilege, with many unique opportunities for development.   Time with my mentor allows me to take a step back, reflect and be more strategic in my thinking. Beccy’s wonderful ability to get me thinking differently has helped me develop in my role and grow in confidence.
