Beccy is a successful community fundraising specialist with an excellent record of achievement throughout a twenty year career at Cancer Research UK and THINK. She is experienced in all aspects of community fundraising including strategy development and implementation, change management and leadership.
A keen advocate of community fundraising and volunteering, Beccy strongly believes in the power of this discipline to have a positive impact on people’s lives and of the pivotal role it can play in an organisation’s fundraising mix.
Aside from community fundraising, Beccy is passionate about vegetable growing and small-holding and tries to live a low impact, self-sufficient life in the heart of Lancashire witch country.
Having been both a mentor and mentee, she is acutely aware of the enormous benefits that can be attained through the relationship and she is thrilled to be a part of the Tony Elischer Foundation, to nurture and champion an individual’s potential.
