Kath Abrahams

Kath is Director of Engagement & Fundraising at Diabetes UK, the leading charity in the UK for people affected by diabetes.  She is also a Trustee for Action Aid UK and until July 2018 was Vice Chair of the Institute of Fundraising and Chair of their Learning & Development Committee.  She has worked in the charity sector for over 20 years and brings significant senior leadership and management experience in fundraising, marketing and communications from a range of roles and organisations She was Director of Engagement & Income Generation at Breakthrough Breast Cancer, Director of Fundraising at ChildLine and Executive Director, Fundraising and Supporter Development at King’s College London & King’s Health Partners.  She also spent twelve years at the NSPCC working at the heart of the ground breaking FULL STOP Campaign and Appeal.  Before moving into the Third Sector, Kath was General Manager of London’s Bloomsbury Theatre.

Kath is passionate about supporting others to grow and develop and is in no doubt that mentoring and coaching have been key to her own career development.  She is very much looking forward to being a mentor on the programme and supporting others to achieve their full potential.
