Louise is a major donor specialist and founder of Summit Fundraising with 14 years of major gifts fundraising experience, following on from her first career in sales and marketing at Unilever. She has increased income in a range of major gift fundraising roles, has been Director of Fundraising at Woking Hospice and is also a trustee of Women and Children First. Louise lives in Surrey with her family and chickens and can often be found mountain biking and climbing.
Through Summit Fundraising Louise has worked with over 100 charities helping them raise more large gifts and interviewed over 70 philanthropists. She has a distinction in the Certificate of Philanthropic Psychology from the Institute of Sustainable Philanthropy. At the heart of her approach is connecting with donors, increasing their well-being and experience, and enabling charity staff and trustees to grow in confidence viewing things from a donor perspective.
Louise is passionate about mentoring support for future fundraising leaders to make the sector stronger, more diverse, and ultimately have more of an impact.
